Roger and Jan Dixon went to Indonesia in 1965 and experienced the historic transition of missions from the pre-WWII base to the new church growth paradigm which initiated many changes in leadership and church planting models. They were involved in national church planting teams in teaching, writing and research while teaching at several seminaries and universities. They had vicarious access to the experiences of many national workers through their extensive interviews and study of local conditions. During this period, they earned degrees at both Fuller School of World Missions and Biola School of Intercultural Studies & Rosemead School of Psychology. They have both taught at a number of Indonesian seminaries and universities and also Roger has taught as an adjunct at several U.S. universities. They are both active in ministry writing and teaching and they can be contacted at rogerd205@gmail.com
