Approximately 20% of veterans returning home from war report experiencing either Post Traumatic Stress, Moral Injury, Complicated Grief, or some combination of the three. Faith communities are uniquely positioned to bring healing to these distressing conditions. Repairing the Soul of a Three Legged Stool is a three part series of workshops presented at The Brookfield Institute (brookfieldinstitute.org), in MA during the summer of 2013. Rev. Todd Farnsworth lead participants through exploring how each of the aforementioned conditions effects a soldier returning home from war. Traditional and cutting edge models of treatment are discussed and demonstrated so that the reader can quickly bring healing to his/her community.

À propos de l?auteur

Rev. Todd Farnsworth has been a minister in the United Church of Christ since 1987. He has served The Second Congregational Church in Londonderry, VT and The Belchertown United Church of Christ in MA. He is married and has two children. Todd is trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (Level 2 with over 100 hours practice) and has Level 1 certification from The Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology. He has Level 1 training at the Brookfield Institute in Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience. He is a regular presenter at Project New Hope (free retreats for veterans and their families) and is a member of the Board at The Brookfield Institute.
