Kobus Smit resides in the small village of Williston, on the Karoo Highlands of South Africa. He holds a doctorate degree in theology and has practiced as a minister for the past twenty-eight years, serving congregations in South Africa and Scotland. Along with his wife, Louisa, he is a proud parent of four and grandparent to six children. Smit fell in love with photography in 1996, and has since had his images published in numerous periodicals, including Getaway, Country Life, Practical Photography, Amateur Photographer, and Beautiful Britain, and as micro stock in the Dreamstime catalog. Smit’s debut photo book, Small Windows on the Creator God, combines his interest and experience in photography with his passion for nature and sincere commitment to God, and marks the accomplishment of his dream to produce a photo book utilizing landscape imagery to portray the majesty and wisdom of the Creator.
