Libby H. O Connell, Ph.D. is an historian, an educator, and Emmy award-winning documentary producer. As Chief Historian and SVP of Corporate Responsibility for the History Channel and A+E Networks, O Connell s work in historic preservation and history education has been recognized by the White House and many historical organizations. She is the executive producer of over 40 short films currently displayed in museum exhibitions around the country including the Smithsonian s National Museum of American History and the Statue of Liberty. She lives outside New York City.
