Ellen Gardner was born in New Mexico where she lived for sixteen years, before moving to North Texas. In Texas, she met and married the love of her life. Together they raised two beautiful children and now share the joy of five grandchildren. Ellen received her bachelor’s degree at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She has taught school for over twenty years. To date, Ellen has written three novels: A Trail of Twenty Winters, Guardian Spirit, and The Lamplighter. Her novels reflect a variety of genres from historical romance to contemporary romance/mystery.
