What began as a definitive guide to the SAP Community Network has changed to become a personal look back in time for this powerful and great community. As the SCN community changed and evolved so quickly so did the content of this guide, however as that community now reaches their 10th anniversary it seems fitting to share this historical guide filled with best practices, lessons learned and stories of the community. This look back is filled with personal thoughts, opinions, tips, tricks and of course best practices of a community evangelist who was in the trenches from the early days of this amazing community.

Craig Cmehil is a web developer by nature, his experiences starting back in the early 90's, turned SAP Evangelist by passion. From his time as community member and contributor through the SAP Developer Network (SDN) since the founding of the site in 2003, he's found himself thrown into the dynamic world of SAP in many aspects. His adventures have lead him to where he is now, member of the global SAP family and Technology Evangelist, having joined SAP in the summer of 2005.
