About the Author
Shell Caudle has seen life from almost every point--especially through the eyes of a child. As a teacher of children, he found that the young see things a bit differently. They laugh more easily than they cry. They love pets and animals of every kind and often find them more honorable and lovable than the adults around them. Shell is the author of a number of publications, including the murder mystery (A Perfect Little Murder), a book on politics (From Ronald Reagan to Rush), a sports column, political cartoons, and a number of short stories. The short stories include Payment in Full and The Great Barge Wars of Crib Island, both award winners.
