Following the continued stories of one Jack Labrador Esq K9 Extraordinaire and friend to gentry. Following the success of the first book, Jack Labrador - The Owner My Part in His Breakfast, Jack has continued to entertain on his blog, Facebook and now on Twitter too. He has followers from all over the world with one or two celebs among them but he can fathom the celebs even less than he can his own hoomun, The Owner. Leaving no dollop of badger poo un-rolled in, nor piece of decaying organic matter untested for flavour he wanders the fields and lanes of his world, the farm on which he lives and at which The Owner has his studio. His one true love (apart from rolling in badger poo) is getting into cars to go for a drive and he isn't fussy about whose car it is nor the state he is in when he tries. This has caused one or two minor complications and a whole heap of embarrassment for The Owner as he has to explain away yet another of Jack's misdemeanours. All of Jack's stories have a small semblance of truth in them somewhere. They may well be embroidered with literary liberties but they are all based on something which has happened either to Jack, The Owner, or both. His slavish love of Bonios and Markies and his absolute devotion to his Skinners Field and Trial food are behind most of his motivation, after all he is a Lab, which is short for "A digestive system with legs".

Born and trained on Lord Bath's estate at Longleat I didn't like the bangs the guns made. (I don't like the noise The Owner's Dyson makes either.) So I was 'released' from my training (given my P45). I was picked up and deposited rather unceremoniously in the back of a Land Rover and taken back to The Owner's cottage, although I did get my own back by depositing a large amount of regurgitated breakfast in the back. There then followed a rather more challenging form of training on matters such as 'How to behave indoors!' and 'Not pooing on the carpet!'. I must have passed this training because I was allowed to stay and am still here today. The Owner can be a grumpy git but he puts up with me and he's my bestest mate.
