Synopsis

This is a collection of poems that explain the aspects of society that separate us as individuals. The most complex and tender subjects that most people feel are best to avoid. We all wonder why diversity is a constant issue; in my view it is a constant issue because it is never directly addressed. No one cares to know why people are the way that they are; no one looks beyond the origins of things and into the people that they affect. It is all too easy to find enough apathy to see in through the eyes of the people you don't understand, but as a whole we refuse to do so.
