There are in all more than five hundred stories ; we have selected only fourteen stories for the present volume. We could have discussed the stories simply by maintaining their numerical sequence. We were confident that even by reading the stories as a series of isolated episodes, erudite scholars and mature readers could have developed some deep understanding of wisdom management.
