The Independent Measurement System (IMS) is a generalpurpose measurement system designed for collecting and analyzing data needed for evaluation of intelligent vehicle systems. The following version of the IMS supports testing and performance evaluation of the road departure crash warning system (RDCWS) developed for a Department of Transportation Field Operation Test under the Intelligent Vehicle Initiative.
