Nick Vellis, born in Pittsburgh to Greek-American parents, grew up in south Florida. He was a law enforcement officer for more than thirty years. Following his retirement, he began a career in technology sales providing intelligence and data analysis software to law enforcement and the military nationwide and overseas. He married his college sweetheart and they have one daughter. Mr. Vellis enjoys the outdoors with his family in beautiful Central Florida, performs volunteer work, and burns the midnight oil writing mysteries, thrillers, and detective stories. Mr. Vellis draws heavily on his law enforcement and intelligence background for a fresh and unique spin on the mystery/thriller genre. Dig Two Graves: Revenge or Honor, Mr. Vellis' first suspense thriller published in 2014, received honorable mention in the Readers' Favorite 2015 International Book contest in Historical Fiction.
