A note from the Author: This novel is about a man and a dog, both contending with modern realities. As an adventure and a love story, my hope is that you find it exciting, yet touching, while often funny and extremely controversial. Written with humility and honesty, may it spark imagination and an appreciation for all of life. Best, Frank J. Page

The author, Frank J. Page has a Ph.D in Sociology and currently teaches Social Theory, Social Psychology, Sociology of Religion, and Sociology Through Film at the University of Utah. He has received two teaching awards, and has numerous publications regarding contemporary issues along with two short stories entitled "Dancing at the North Yard Cafe," and "Stars and Stripes and Other Signs of Life." He also works as a musician in Salt Lake City. He grew up in a relatively rural setting and spent many summers riding his horse along the the slopes of the Wasatch Front. Over the years, prior to returning to school for his doctorate, he worked as a mechanic and a carpenter and also managed a small business. These diverse experiences along with his academic training in sociology and the many things he learned from his dog Fiver form much of the inspiration for the book "Fiver and the Psychology of Rabbits."
