She supports teachers in understanding why and how to implement the science of reading in their literacy instruction. In addition, Jodene develops curriculum and has authored a wide range of resources that translate educational research into practical classroom strategies, including What the Science of Reading Says: Literacy Strategies for Early Childhood.

Suzanne I. Barchers, Ed.D., has been in education for more than 40 years as a classroom teacher and educational author and publisher. An award-winning author, she has written many educational resources and previously served as managing editor, editor-in-chief, and vice president at several leading educational companies. Barchers is past president of the board of directors for the Associated of Educational Publishers.
