I was born and bred in North Carolina. Spent my youth in the sportfishing village of Southport. Did my share of deepsea fishing. Lived in Florida most of my adult years. Now I live part time in the highlands of Mexico about half way between Guadalajara and Mexico City. I am en joying experiencing a different culture. Folks are folks, no matter where you are, and we find the natives friendly. Curiosity and a good sense of humor are among the finest gifts the good Lord can give a person, and I am blessed with both. People watching is a favorite hobby. I was a legal secretary for a large law firm in Tampa, where it was fertile ground for discovering all kinds of people—the good, the bad and the preposterous. It is true—truth is stranger than fiction. I am also an artist. My favorite mediums are oil, digital and photography. These interest add a lot to my style of writing.
