Synopsis

This small book was originally designed to help students slow down and enjoy a specific exhibit about the genius of Leonardo da Vinci. But it has been redone to be useful for students anywhere - students who have access to websites or books about Leonardo da Vinci. It includes a scavenger hunt that gives a good overview of Leonardo da Vinci as artist, architect, inventor, mathematician and more! Then there are several other hunts that delve into some of those other "job titles" that Leonardo held during his very busy 67-year life. Happy Hunting!

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Catherine has been studying and teaching about Leonardo da Vinci for more than a decade. She loves sharing him with students of all ages. Her first book on him, "Da Vinci: His Life and His Legacy," was a short, but still complete, family-friendly biography of his life. Over the last several years she has started a series of historically based novels about Leonardo, that currently includes "Leonardo the Florentine," "Leonardo: Masterpieces in Milan," "Leonardo: To Mantua and Beyond," and "Leonardo: A Return to Rome." Each of these novels have been well-researched, and give a fascinating view of both Leonardo da Vinci and the time and place he lived and worked.
