Synopsis

Discover the deeper power behind God's promises—and what it truly means to live in covenant relationship with Him.

In The Two Covenants, beloved Christian author and pastor Andrew Murray masterfully compares the Old and New Covenants, guiding believers into a richer understanding of God’s eternal plan of redemption. With deep scriptural insight and practical wisdom, Murray explores how the New Covenant in Christ transforms the believer's life—not merely by improved conduct, but by an entirely new source of spiritual power: the indwelling life of Jesus Himself.

This isn't a dry theological treatise—it's a living invitation. Murray gently but boldly challenges readers to move beyond shallow faith and into full covenant relationship, where God’s promises are not only believed but experienced. Whether you struggle with spiritual stagnation or simply long for more of God, this book offers profound clarity, encouragement, and a path forward.

“Let us listen to what God has to say of His Covenant and deal with Him as a Covenant God.” — Andrew Murray

Ideal for personal devotion, Bible study, or group reflection, The Two Covenants will awaken a fresh hunger for intimacy with God and help you step into the victorious Christian life God intended.

À propos de l?auteur

Andrew Murray (1828–1917) was a South African writer, teacher, and Christian pastor. Murray considered missions to be "the chief end of the church." Andrew pastored churches in Bloemfontein, Worcester, Cape Town and Wellington, all in South Africa. He was a champion of the South African Revival of 1860. In 1889, he was one of the founders of the South African General Mission (SAGM), along with Martha Osborn and Spencer Walton. After Martha Osborn married George Howe, they formed the South East Africa General Mission (SEAGM) in 1891. SAGM and SEAGM merged in 1894. Because its ministry had spread into other African countries, the mission's name was changed to Africa Evangelical Fellowship (AEF) in 1965. AEF joined with SIM in 1998 and continues to this day. He died on January 18, 1917, four months before his eighty-ninth birthday. Over the years he has influenced many, including Jessie Penn-Lewis, a key figure in the 1904-1905 Welsh Revival.
