Synopsis

Regina Mayhue is many things; a lovely woman, a private detective (a "finder" really), a half Fae, half werewolf immortal and the daughter of Elizabeth the First, queen of both England and Underhill. Life is not easy for a half breed, her struggles are legendary, but she has always strove to do the right thing, and to be independent of both the Fae and the Lycanthropes. She finds herself embroiled in a case where the victim has been taken by vampires. She agrees to help her client, for she has had run ins in the past with vampires and knows the depravity they represent. Together with her new mate (she was looking for love all along) and his pack, they hunt down this nest of vampires, who have recently done the unthinkable and begun kidnapping children of all species, both human and Other, aided by a rogue werewolf who seems to be on the side of the vampires, but why?

About the Author Born in the turbulent 60s, Chris has been a dreamer his entire life. He was introduced very young to the world of science fiction by his maternal grandmother and later, to fantasy by his cousin's wife. He has been a reader all his life, a voracious one at that. He has also been making scribbles here and there, though nothing was ever published until now. He lives in the Southern Tier of New York State, with three dogs and three cats. He is in love with his home, his housemates and the deer that come out every sunset to graze in the hay field near the house. He is a great bear of a Scotsman who is always bearded, and has interesting khaki colored eyes. To borrow a quote from a favorite author of mine; the late Anne McCaffrey “And the rest changes without notice.”
