With this book you’ll be able to fold origami models as original as garden labels, fireplace bellows, and condiment shakers. Practigami was an independent project, made with love and dedication (instead of money) from all of us. Although I'm not a real editor I accepted the challenge and this is the result; it's not a competitive commercial book, it's just the humble creation we wanted to share with the origami community. Biographie de l'auteur :

My name is Gerardo Gacharná Ramírez, I’m from Colombia, South America. Since 2010 I've dedicated a great amount of time to origami. During this years I've created around 60 original models, elaborated the collaborative blog Neorigami (http://neorigami.com), and helped in the electronic fanzine Mini Neo. I also organized the Inter-forum Useful Model Challenge and edited this book. As an origamist, I have been particularly interested in models with practical uses as well as in making folded models a lot more durable–by folding them in metal, plastic, or fabric or by applying resins to paper models. At a theoretical level, I've also been interested in the relationship between origami and art as well as origami and intellectual property.
