David Rische writes a blog called Still Waters. He is devoted to helping people go deeper in their walk and journey with God. His blogs, teachings, and books are about: devotions from the Bible, principles of leadership, personal productivity, and life experiences. Every now and then, he writes about things that don’t fit neatly into one of those categories. David has been married to Kelly Rische for over 20 years, he has 3 children, one grandson – and he owns the greatest long haired dachshund the world has ever known! David has been a Christian for over 35 years, and currently teaches an adult Bible class every Sunday morning at Harvest Church in Ft. Worth, Texas. He has written the curriculum for several adult Sunday school units, taught discipleship/leadership classes for men, presented at local conferences, and created devotionals for stewardship focus weeks. He has been in public education for over 18 years, and has held a campus administrative position for the last 10 years. David won the United Educators Association “Keller Principal of the Year Award” in 2012. He also won the Tarleton State University Effective Schools Project “Instructional Leadership Award” in 2014. He has been featured in the “Who’s News” section of Texas School Business and several articles in The Keller Citizen. David was selected by Keller ISD to be a member of the Texas Christian University Leadership Lyceum. He is a Trainer of Trainers for Thinking Maps, VESTED Teaching Model, and Love and Logic. He enjoys family time, reading, biking, board games, movies, studying God’s Word, the NFL, MLB, teaching, hiking, waterfalls, rivers, mountains and making people laugh. David and his family reside in Keller, Texas.
