A skillful blend of rich poetic and photographic imagery draws you along to enjoy beauty in four seasons of nature with reflections on life, through dark ravines of adversity (including the author's experience of breast cancer), finally coming to a place of profound Light. The positive mindset of hope, patience, and joy underlying all situations emanates from reliance on and thankfulness to God. The author's accessible poetic style includes a variety of traditional structure, free form, haiku and tanka poems, together forming a cohesive “story line.”

Hildegard Lindschinger resides in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, with her photographer-husband Werner. Recently healed of cancer, she was given a fresh start on more mindful, healthful, faith-filled living. She relishes retirement, preferring writing, painting, and puttering in the garden over downsizing clutter... Together, Hildegard and Werner enjoy photography while travelling, hiking, and flying in his Cessna 150, then working on "whphotoplus" projects (including this book), with the desire that others will also find these enjoyable and uplifting. Enthusiastic grandparents, they feel blessed to have raised two kids who, as adults, continue to inspire them.
