After studying at U.C. Berkeley and then working as a bartender for several years (go figure..), Miguel Acevedo began a career as a language professional, mostly as a Spanish interpreter and translator, back in his native L.A. Building on fundamentals of medical and legal interpreting, he later branched out to working on community outreach and consulting projects in the local area. Miguel's goal is to use his communications skills and experience to empower folks in need of personal and professional advancement, especially Hispanics in the U.S. Miguel currently takes on freelance language and communication projects and resides in Northridge, California, with his wife and four kids.
