Morgan is Kappa Alpha Professor of English at Cornell University, where he has taught since 1971. Jesse Graves is associate professor of English and poet-in-residence at East Tennessee State University. He is author of three poetry collections and recipient of the James Still Award for Writing about the Appalachian South from the Fellowship of Southern Writers.
