Synopsis

He follows her on a journey that leaves him burned, battered, and nearly dead. By the time Joe realizes that there was a reason he and Evelyn were brought together, she has been taken. With the aid of an old priest in an abandoned cathedral, Joe begins to regain his former glory. He needs to remember who he was before he became a nightmare lurking in the shadows. He will have to fight to the center of Hell and back if he wants to save his one reason in the Universe to live.

Mike Reynolds is the author of Lake of Dragons, as well as numerous short stories and poems. He has spent the last twenty years in direct marketing, print, and communication. Mike is fascinated by history, belief systems, and the human condition. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Shelia.
