Filippo Cardu is a freelance illustrator/artist. At 21 years of age, he is also a graphic design & art direction student at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA), one of the world s 30 top graduate schools of design. His work consists of heavy detailed ink illustrations full of patterns, characters and natural elements, that all blend together to give life to intricate compositions and provide visual impact and variation. He draws in a beautifully stylized visual language influenced by medieval ornament, Chinese traditional illustration and calligraphy.
