À propos de l'auteur

Hemlata Vasavada was born in Jodhpur, India, where she earned a master’s in philosophy. She immigrated to the United States in 1968 with her husband and their one-year-old daughter. She has been a Girl Scouts volunteer and an ESL tutor. She has conducted workshops through Literacy Volunteers of America to train tutors in English as a Second Language teaching techniques. She is a member of Skagit Valley Writers League where she has held offices of president, vice-president and treasurer. Her articles and humor essays have been published in The Seattle Times, Houston Chronicle, Syracuse Post Standard, Northwest Life & Times, Tea A Magazine, Everett Herald, anthologies of Skagit Writers, Khabar—a magazine for Indian-Americans and I Should Have Stayed Home—Food, anthology from RDR Books.
