Synopsis

The Prayer Book Psalter offers one-of-a-kind analysis of each and every Psalm and, in detail, how it is used in the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, plus a short history of the Book of Psalms, when and how it came to be included in the Book of Common Prayer, and how it has been used in Christian worship, especially in the Anglican tradition. Fr. Ron's commentary avoids technical, theological language and brings to the reader insights into the views of Protestants, Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox Christians. The Glossary includes every person, place, or event mentioned in the Psalter along with a cross reference to where it is used.
