À propos de l'auteur

Michael Matsuda is president and founder of the Martial Arts History Museum in Burbank, CA. He was the publisher of Martial Art Magazine (1983 - 1988) and is considered one of the leading historians on the martial arts. For 20 years, he was a contributing editor for such magazines as Black Belt, Inside Kung Fu, Karate Illustrated and many more. Matsuda has been practicing the martial arts since 1968 and studied the arts of Judo, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Hung Gar Kung Fu, Wing Chun Kung Fu and for the last 35 years, teaching Monkey Kung Fu. He is the 6th Generation Grandmaster of the art of Monkey Kung Fu (Tai Shing Pek Kwar). He holds degrees in Business, Graphic Design and Journalism. He has authored six books on the martial arts.
