Ison-Herr began its journey into building a healthier earth in 2007. The company is based in Atlanta, Georgia. As a family run recycling company we saw the significance of teaching younger generations the importance of recycling and helping them to make recycling a lifestyle. We introduce the go green team as a platform to teach kids about the consequences of not recycling, and how it affects our communities and the world as a whole. Recycling conserves precious resources that we are greatly overusing and when we recycle, we allow used materials to be converted into new products without using any additional raw materials. Recycling also saves irreplaceable amounts of energy and reduces the ever-growing size of landfills that emit toxic gasses into our environment.
