Synopsis

From the One who said multiple times, “I tell you the truth,” flows forth “grace and truth.” Even antagonistic listeners testified that, “This man speaks with authority.” Soldiers sent to arrest him came back empty-handed saying, “No one ever spoke like this man.” Something in His demeanor on the cross at Calvary caused the soldier to exclaim, “Surely this was the Son of God.” When He spoke, the Word of God was flowing forth; resonating in people’s hearts like a wooden instrument resonates at the plucking or striking of strings. Even now His words bear witness that this Person is the Voice of Truth from whom we were created. Truth seekers respond like a newborn child responds to their mother’s voice which they have heard already in the womb. As we embrace the One who said, “I am the Truth,” we also are sent to proclaim grace and truth with our lives.

À propos de l?auteur

Larry and Laurie Kennedy, their three daughters and five grandchildren reside in the Pacific Northwest. For the past 35 years, Larry has ministered at several churches as an Associate Pastor, Worship Pastor, song writer, writer, and workshop instructor. He has also lead and taught in Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and Guatemala City. He now ministers in worship at Destiny Christian Fellowship, in Oregon. Larry excels in dynamic and intimate worship. His love for the Lord and heart for transformative worship shines through as he leads and teaches. His formal training comes from Abilene Christian University, Pepperdine University and Warner Pacific College where he received his Master’s degree in biblical studies in 2004. His most valuable training, by far, has come while sitting at the feet of Jesus in worship.
