David lives with his wife of over 50 years in Utopia, Texas. He founded "Ministries of Mercy", which reaches prisoners, street people and imperfect Christians alike. His messages are down-to-earth and provoke people to have more Godly attitudes. After forty years of an abundance of mercy and fullness of grace, he was taught the way of God more perfectly, and helped thousands of others receive and give mercy and forgiveness to others. His daughter Debbie has said, "He is more like Jesus than anyone I know".
