Betty L. Wade was born and raised in the Detroit, Michigan area. She graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Elementary Education. The next 32 years were spent teaching in public schools. She started teaching Sunday school at the age of 14, and has held various church jobs - Sunday school Superintendent, Christian Education Director and Praise and Worship pianist. She is passionate about her love for God, studying His word, writing and helping others. Darlene M. Wetzel was born and raised near Lansing, Michigan. She has two grown children. She earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology from Spring Arbor University and later earned her Masters of Social Work at Michigan State University. She pursued her dream of helping people by working at the American Cancer Society, Hospice and the University of Michigan's Mott Children's Hospital. In 1998 she experienced the onset of Major Depression. She struggled with the illness for 14 years before God graciously healed her on September 11, 2012. She felt led to tell her story in hopes that it may help others.
