Synopsis

RESET is not a sales book. I want you to read this book from the perspective of my aggregated insight from listening to owners complain about how ineffective the traditional sales process has been…for quite a while. The ineffectiveness stems from the fact that service providers have long struggled to convey their complex and subtle value propositions and connect them to an owner’s issues. To further complicate things, the amount of “noise” in our lives has increased (think about email, video, social media, and other news sources), so it’s become even more difficult for brands to break through with an impactful message. Leadership has to RESET thinking and open up to learning a new way to connect with owners and decision makers. RESET is about The Connection Process; the methodology I developed to help businesses grow in a faster, more collaborative, and intelligent way. By showing leadership teams how to unhook from traditional (linear) sales techniques, and focus on systematically gathering intelligence and leveraging their value, companies are set up to build flywheels for long-term sustainable growth.

À propos de l?auteur

Wayne O’Neill is the founder and CEO of Wayne O’Neill & Associates, an account development coaching practice. Since 2005, the firm has coached service providers to develop sustainable go-to-market strategies in three key spaces: Strategic Intent, Strategic IT, and Design and Construction. He and his team coach service providers that securing strategic accounts – as opposed to “one-off opportunities” - is usually not a sales problem; it is a connections problem. His team works on a variety of levels in a firm to help connect with targeted, smart clients instead of the classic linear sales and marketing model. By showing leadership teams how to systematically gather intelligence and leverage their value, his firm helps companies build flywheels for long-term sustainable growth. Prior to starting his coaching firm, Wayne O’Neill spent 25 years in the project delivery industry as a national and regional account manager for such companies as PSA/Dewberry, Bovis, and Gilbane Building Company. Wayne lives in Houston with his wife, Maria. He has two adult stepchildren, Emily and Jared. To learn more about Wayne and his practice, please visit www.woassociates.com.
