Présentation de l'éditeur

There is no information around about O. Hasnu Hara. No mentions anywhere, no pictures, not even what the O. stands for. There has been a rumour for quite some time, that this could be another pseudonym of William Walker Atkinson. In our collection, we already discovered that “Edward Beals” was a pseudonym. The facts seem to show the same patterns, as the lack of information; the inexistence of pictures; and the fact that it was published by Atkinson, and has a style and management of subjects similar to Atkinson’s. Therefore, we show here forth Atkinson’s biography. Born in Maryland in 1862, he began working life at 15 in his parent’s grocery store. He married at age 27, and became an attorney in Pennsylvania. While he gained material success as a lawyer, the stress and over-strain brought him to a complete physical and mental breakdown that ended in a financial disaster. He looked for healing and in the late 1880s he found the principles of New Thought, and in applying them he restored his health, mental vigor and material prosperity. Atkinson then began to write articles on the truths he felt he had discovered. His “A Mental Science Catechism,” appeared in Charles Fillmore's ‘Modern Thought’ in 1889.
