Her career started out working with delinquent teen boys for fourteen years then expanding to the adult system (Department Of Corrections), working with both men and women. Working with this particular population she has seen firsthand the devastating effects drugs have had on these individuals and their families. Her perspective is enormously different due to the fact that she works on the inside...she teaches and counsels inmates; preparing them to return to the community. She works with the inmates to develop a Relapse Prevention Plan in order to reduce the rate of recidivism.
