Synopsis

In this Christian fiction book set in the future, a brother and sister go through loss and then experience divine spiritual awakening together when they see Jesus Christ appear to them. A dream calls to Isabella to drive to a shrine. There she hears God's voice and sees Jesus Christ appear to her. He reveals that she was spared from death for a purpose. Jesus continues to appear to her, helping her convince others that he is real. He shows himself to others in her church and family during mass, including the church leaders. Her brother, once an unbeliever, has now seen Jesus Christ and His miracles in front of his eyes. Bella must come up with twelve key words and phrases that summarize Christian beliefs and aspirations. Jesus appears to the entire congregation in order to remind believers that their fallen world is growing more sinful every day. However, many of the people present denied Jesus Christ's presence in front of them. Stephen M. Grimble was born in Dallas, Texas, spent many years in Delaware, Brazil, and New Mexico, and currently resides in Florida. Raised a Lutheran, he entered the Catholic Church several years ago while living in New Mexico. A retired corporate and university executive, and Vietnam veteran, The Unexpected Visitation is his second novel.
