Mike Mochizuki is associate professor of political science and international affairs and holds the Japan-U.S. Relations Chair in Memory of Gaston Sigur at George Washington University.

Lily Gardner Feldman is Harry & Helen Gray Senior Fellow in Residence and director of the Society, Culture, and Politics Program at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Marlene Laruelle is Professor at the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy. She is the author of several books, including Russian Eurasianism: An Ideology of Empire (2008), In the Name of the Nation: Nationalism and Politics in Contemporary Russia (2009), and Understanding Russia: The Challenges of Transformation (2018).
