Synopsis

This collection examines the relationship between Augustine and Wittgenstein and demonstrates the deep affinity they share, not only for the substantive issues they treat but also for the style of philosophizing they employ. Alexander R. Eodice is professor of philosophy and chair of the Philosophy Department at Iona College.

John Doody is Senior Visiting Professor at Arizona State University. He is a member of the School for Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership.

Espen Dahl is Professor of Systematic Theology at UiT - The Arctic University of Norway. He has published on phenomenology, ordinary language philosophy, and religion.

Duncan Richter is Charles S. Luck III '55 Institute Professor of philosophy at the Virginia Military Institute, USA.
