Risk-based, Management-led, Audit-driven, Safety Management Systems, explains what a safety management system (SMS) is, and how it reduces risk in order to prevent accidental losses in an organization. He has been extensively involved in research concerning the cause, effect, and control of accidental loss. He has specialized in near miss incident reporting, accident investigation, safety system implementation, auditing, training, safety team building, and safety culture change for many years. He has worked and lived in 5 countries and has worked in Australia, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Chile, Hong Kong, Namibia, USA, Canada, Sweden, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
