Biographie de l'auteur

Deusdedit R. K. Nkurunziza is associate professor of theology and peace studies for the Department of Religion and Peace Studies, Makerere University. He was born on the fourth of November 1953, in Bufumbira, Kisoro District. He was ordained a diocesan Catholic priest in Kabale Diocese, Uganda. He holds BA in theology from Gregorian University, Rome; a masters in theology from Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA); a doctorate in theology from Tübingen University, Germany; post graduate diploma in project planning and management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI); and masters in peace and reconciliation studies from Coventry University, United Kingdom. He is lead facilitator for the training program of interreligious dialogue and peace building of the Interreligious Council of Uganda and leading the process of Agriculture for Life and Peace-ALiPe-an innovation to enhance food security and overcome hunger and poverty through sustainable agri-business development.
