Synopsis
Buck Calhoun, a retired Criminal Justice professor, lives on his boat, the C-Breeze, berthed at a dock in the California Delta. As a licensed private investigator he’s often called upon. He avoids cases of murder, divorce, and all active criminal investigations. On this occasion, an attorney representing an anonymous client from a private, well-endowed college seeks his service to investigate the suicide of the head librarian. It was a closed case. The client wants to ascertain whether the investigation was sufficiently thorough. Plus, the matter of complications. Potentially incriminating complications. Buck agrees to meet with him when he reveals that an unnamed college professor recommended him. No sooner is the contract signed than he calls his old friend, retired university teacher, Tweedy Flynch. This won’t be the first time they’ve worked together.

À propos de l'auteur
Tweedy Flynch, being the creation of the author of One Murder One, One Murder Two, and One Murder Three, enjoys the reality of fiction. As such, he is a bachelor. After a long teaching career in academia, he retired as Professor Emeritus to a life of reading and writing. Prior to a career in academia, he served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force for a number of years and was Honorably Discharged from both.
