Synopsis

Is the Bible the Word of God?
By W. Graham Scroggie

Can the origins of the Bible truly stand up to rigorous historical, literary, and spiritual scrutiny?

In a world filled with shifting philosophies and rising skepticism, the question of the Bible’s authority is more critical than ever. In Is the Bible the Word of God?, renowned theologian and master expositor W. Graham Scroggie delivers a classic, brilliantly reasoned defense of scripture that has guided readers for generations.

Scroggie does not ask for blind faith. Instead, he invites readers on an intellectual and spiritual investigation, examining the evidence with the precision of a scholar and the heart of a pastor. With remarkable clarity, he unpacks how a library of 66 distinct books, written by over 40 different authors across 1,500 years, maintains a flawless, unbroken unity in its message.

What You’ll Discover Inside:
  • The Human and Divine Elements: A profound look at how God used unique human personalities, languages, and historical contexts to deliver His unchanging truth.

  • The Proof of Prophecy: How hundreds of precise biblical predictions, fulfilled centuries later, point to a single Divine Mind behind the text.

  • Internal Evidence: An examination of the Bible’s unmatched moral loftiness, historical accuracy, and structural harmony.

  • The Power to Transform: A reflection on the unique ability of scripture to radically alter human lives, cultures, and history across millennia.
