Dr. Cathy Robbs Baker serves as Director of Education at Christ United Methodist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she fulfills her passion of supporting people in their journey of faith. She finds great fulfillment in leading Bible study groups Women of Worth and Mom2Mom and helping women find God's purpose in their lives. She was named a 2016 Chattanooga Woman of Distinction. Prior to her church work, Dr. Turner was a high school English teacher and Change Coach. Holding a doctorate in Education: Learning and Leadership, she also serves as an organizational and faith development coach, and organizes national and international group travel. In her book Looking Forward she shares her faith journey as she coped with cancer, divorce, and then the death of a spouse. She is the proud "mother" of two handsome sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and the stars of the family, grandchildren Stella and Will. She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and singing.
