Lawrence Perkins is a speaker, educator, ordained minister, and pastor. He currently serves as the Culture Compliance Coordinator for the Uno Charter School Organization. Lawrence serves as the Youth Pastor for Greater St. John Bible Church under the leadership of Pastor Ira J. Acree. Growing up in the Robert Taylor Housing Projects in Chicago, Rev. Perkins has a passion for mentoring youth and inspiring them to achieve greatness. Lawrence has served as a teacher and a principal in the public and charter school settings in both Chicago and New Orleans. He is known as a caring, loving teacher that is not afraid to advocate for his students. Lawrence graduated from Alcorn State University with a B.S. Degree. He received his Master Degree in Education from National Louis University where he is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Education. Lawrence currently resides in Chicago, IL and has 2 children.
