As publisher of IHRSA's Club Business International (CBI) and Get Active! magazines, Jay is an advocate for the promotion of regular physical activity for people of all ages and has presented to fitness industry conferences worldwide. Jay Ablondi has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of New Hampshire where he served as Student Body President. "I'm a believer that 'Life is Better for Those Who Exercise'. Active from A to Z, my first children's book--was inspired by my loving wife Linda and the birth of our two daughters. I am a founding fan of Stan Tran’s Out of Shape cartoon, which appears monthly in CBI magazine and I am honored to have collaborate with him on this book. I consulted with my good friend and fellow Original Six hockey fan, Jim Schmaltz, managing editor of Get Active! and Muscle and Body magazines, on the text for Active from A to Z and want to thank Stan, Jim, our designer, Samantha Cuozzo, and of course, IHRSA and the Helix Company for bringing Active from A to Z to life. Our goal is to present fitness and learning in a playful way." - Jay Ablondi
