Synopsis

The Magic Lake is a coming of age book following the life of the Wilde Family from the perspective of Jason Wilde. When Jason was going through those difficult pubescent years he suffers the loss of his two best friends. As he matures he, like all young men, has his heart broken by his first love. Then April, a girl like no other, simply walks into his life. Jason didn’t know that girls like this existed. She leads Jason down a road finding a wilder, and freer life then any he had imagined existed. His life will never be the same. His education is only beginning. Follow him as he learns about love, sex, and tragedy. He sometimes thinks that he is the luckiest boy in the world. But what will he do when he has to give it all up? Will he be able to sacrifice everything he has become?

À propos de l'auteur

Daniel was born and raised in the Willamette Valley of Oregon State. He was always an avid reader. This continued throughout his adult life until the demands of raising a family left little time to read. After graduating from school, he worked a short time for a local contractor doing construction work. He spent twenty years serving his country in the U.S. Air Force as a Computer Operator. His military career took him to exotic locations. From Las Vegas Nevada to San Jose California to South Korea, and then finally to San Angelo Texas where he finished his career. After his retirement, he worked for a few, unrewarding years, as a telemarketer. Finally, he found a rewarding career working with a non-profit company providing developmental employment to disabled workers helping them to become self-sufficient.
