Lynda was born in New York and grew up in Los Angeles, spending thirty years as a Marriage and Family Therapist before devoting herself full time to her specialty in mental skills coaching for athletes. She currently resides in Seattle, Washington with her husband, Terry, where their four grown children also live. Her first book, Two-Up: Navigating a Relationship 1,000 Miles at a Time, recounts their first three years together, a second marriage for both of them. Lynda moves from novice to experienced passenger as they build their relationship while simultaneously learning to ride together as a team in the world of long distance motorcycling. Her unique perspective as a mental skills coach for athletes and competitor adds a new dimension to motorcycling literature. Lynda's column, "Perspective," appears in the Iron Butt Magazine, a publication dedicated to the sport of safe long distance riding. She and Terry still ride together, although now on separate bikes.
