Norman Clark is a semi-retired international Ad-man now living in France. He is well-known for his collections of Posters & Graphics books for Mosaic Publishing ( see http://mosaicbooks.org), but has now returned to his illustrative background to produce this and the companion book on World War One Tanks, Trucks & Armoured Cars. The books are non-technical, even though they do contain some specification details. Predominantly they are Anecdotal and Image aircraft oriented, and cover most of the self-propelled equipment used in the conflict - and including prototypes. Norman has used his own impressions as to how they would have appeared to the troops on the ground, and not as pristine examples in a museum.
