Andrea Lynn Moore, known by many as ‘Aunie,’ is an author, executive administrator, leader, youth trainer, mentor, coach, and counselor. She wrote her first book, Connecting with My Mentor in Ministry several years before it was published in 2014. Writing The Rose that Bloomed Outside My Window was therapy for Aunie during that time. This book is a reflection of personal truth discovered during her time of recovery from cancer. It speaks on behalf of those who wanted to but could not express or articulate their experience dealing with such a diagnosis. Readers will spring forth with encouragement in the simple things of life as did Aunie when she found hope and zeal to live watching the rose that bloomed outside her window.

One of her sincere passions is teaching the Word of God; she has traveled nationally and internationally (South Korea, England, South Africa) teaching seminars and workshops. She is known for her gift of administration in which she has been the coordinator of several conferences and events. She jokingly insists that she has retired from wedding and baby showers, but is always in the background planning a party or fellowship. Andrea has been active in the Social Service field for over twenty years and currently is the Program Director for a youth agency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Andrea’s delight is watching the progress of the youth who have been exposed to these programs. She has been recognized for her dedication to this field; she was awarded New Pittsburgh Courier Fabulous 40 Community Award; Employee of the Year Award from Youth Enrichment Services, Inc. and Three Rivers Youth Spirit Award. Her hobbies include traveling nationally and internationally, reading, shopping, and having social gatherings with family and friends. She has two sisters and two brothers who have blessed her with nieces and nephews that she loves to spoil. She has also three Goddaughters: Ceona, Kylie and Kennedy and two Godsons: Shaun and Christopher, whom she adores.
