Mabel and MayBelle should be twins, but they were born ten years apart. That doesn't stop the battle between them when one leaves home to find work and the other is left with custody of the family. Add in a 50th wedding anniversary/vowel renewal, the family reunion, and the local Swamp Festival and you have the makings for a country size screw up.

Wanda M. Argersinger was born in the upper peninsula of Michigan by mistake. At the age of 5 she found her true home on the Gulf Coast of Florida. She began writing in second grade at which time her teachers suggested counseling. She ignored the advice and continued to write. Mabel and MayBelle were born in 2010 at the Erma Bombeck Writer’s Workshop. They haven’t stopped their shenanigans since. Ms. Argersinger has also written Y-Mee’s A B C Book of Emotions, Bare Elements, The Education of Joe Willy, and can be found in a number of anthologies including We Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. Wanda writes a blog entitled Lost In The Land of Confusion, where she can normally be found. She is currently working on 6 or 7 other projects. In addition to her humor she writes a more serious blog for lupus patients that can be found on the website of The Lupus Support Network. Jody Worsham Jody and her current husband of 50 years have 8 children, none of whom have the same mother or father except maybe two. As Jody and current hubby entered Medicare and Social Security, they started their second round of parenthood when they adopted a one day old baby and a three-year-old. Humor writing had to follow. In 2010 Jody escaped from "the home" and attended her first ever Erma Bombeck Writer's Conference where she met Wanda Argersinger and a two foot tall blue heron. This resulted in their first collaboration (Jody and Wanda, not Jody and the bird) and the e-book "E.B. and the Ladies of the Bird Table". In 2010, 2011 and 2012 through an exchange of e-mails MayBelle and Mable began to emerge and "Kin We are Not Related" was born, even though as Jody said "I don't know nothing' 'bout birthing' no book." Jody's first 70 years were spent learning to walk and talk, going to school, teaching high school theatre, and adopting children. She and assorted family members and critters live in Texas in a house that has been under construction since 1978. She writes a weekly blog "The Medicare Mom."
